Vanessa Linares

Vanessa Linares graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona in 1999, with a specialisation in Graphic Design. During this period, she spent one year at the Manchester Metropolitan University as part of the Erasmus programme. Linares draws inspiration from the conscious and sub-conscious of her mind, with many of her drawings set in the woods featuring animals or other anthropomorphic figures, representing human emotions. She has held solo exhibitions in Barcelona and Cuba and has won poster design competitions in Spain. Her artwork has been shortlisted in competitions held by the Centre of Contemporary Culture in Barcelona, as well as by the Maritime Museum of Barcelona.
