The Real Barcelona

Fernando Adam, Tus silencios

THE REAL BARCELONA is an exhibition that presents current trends in contemporary European art, in which the modern styles and perspectives of the artists remain firmly rooted in grand European tradition.  These artists have reinterpreted reality as they perceive it, ranging from the anthropological lenses of Rafael Romero to more literal interpretations by Rafael de la Rica.
A centre of creation where local and foreign artists have found inspiration, Barcelona remains an important artistic hub that has inspired the works of prominent artists of the 20th century, such as Gaudí, Picasso, Miró and Dalí.  Many of the artists in this exhibition started their careers with Galeria Jordi Barnadas over 20 years ago, and have grown to become successful artists both in Spain and internationally.
